This page explains how Kariba Marketplace users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

If you have created an account on Kariba Marketplace and would like it removed, you may request account deletion using the method described below.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your Kariba Marketplace account within the App settings, or request deletion by contacting our support team using the email address linked to your account.

Please use the subject line: Account Deletion Request

2. Information to Include in Your Request

To help us process your request quickly and securely, please include the following:

  • Your full name
  • Your phone number linked to the account
  • Your email address linked to the account, if applicable
  • Your Kariba Marketplace username, if applicable
  • A clear statement requesting deletion of your account
3. What Will Be Deleted

Once your request is verified and approved, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your Kariba Marketplace account, including where applicable:

  • Your profile information
  • Your account details
  • Your public listings
  • Your uploaded profile image
  • Other personal information linked to your account
4. What May Be Retained

Certain limited information may be retained where necessary for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security investigations
  • Dispute resolution
  • Enforcement of our policies and terms

Any retained data will only be kept where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

5. How Long Deletion Takes

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within a reasonable time after receiving all necessary information.

In some cases, we may contact you to confirm ownership of the account before completing the request.

6. Important Note

Deleting your account is permanent. Once completed, you may lose access to your account, listings, messages, and other account-related information.

If you wish to continue using Kariba Marketplace in future, you may need to create a new account.
